Pour Over Weekend Special ☕️
It's been a long time, but we're hosting a Pour Over Pop-up this Sunday!
Pour over coffee requires a bit of time and undivided attention in order to carefully brew a really lovely cup of coffee. If you're a regular, you know that coffee bar is a busy and fast paced area. Over time as Lucky's has grown, crafting cups of pour over coffee became a challenge in the barflow, and and so that service was taken off of the menu. Pour over is something that we really love though, and our roasting partners offer such a lovely variety of beans, we knew that we had to find a way to showcase them for you.
Fortunately Steve (our coffee lead who works directly with our roasting partners) has a knack for precision, and a deep love of coffee. This coming Sunday morning, he'll be running our Pour Over Pop-up from 8-10am at the garage!
He'll be brewing using a Hario V60 Complete Drip Set, and Hario V60 scale (both are available on our retail shelves, and are a lovely addition to your home brew set-up) and fielding any questions you have about these exciting coffees! If you find something that you're in love with, we'll also have retail bags available in the cafe so you can enjoy these special beans at home.
Sunday Pour Over Coffee Menu
Carrier Ethiopia Shoondhisa - a natural process Ethiopian coffee with notes of purple grape, strawberry, and lemon
Brio Colombia Finca Vista Hermosa - a balanced, rich Colombian coffee with notes of cherry, vanilla, and chocolate
Parlor Ethiopia Yabitu Koba - a delicate , bright Ethiopian coffee with notes of strawberry, honey, and hibiscus tea
Iluminar Colombia Felipe Trujillo - a fruit-forward coffee (natural + therma-shock) with notes of raspberries, cherries, prunes, and honeycomb (limited release)

We're planning to make Pour Over Sunday a regular event where we can showcase exciting coffees from our roasting partners! We hope to see you at our first Pop-up event!
